ABOUT KALLOL GROUP OF COMPANIES

Our journey began in 1972 with a few local brands. However, 1987 was the year that marked the beginning of our success. We became the licensee of fay international ltd. Uk, producing a wide variety of tissue products in bangladesh. In 1993, kallol became the distributor of internationally renowned and reputed fmcg and durable consumer goods nationwide.

In 2006, kallol acquired jet - a renowned leading brand and one of the pioneers in the detergent powder category. The next milestone was in the year 2010, when two joint ventures were signed - one with jyothy laboratories ltd., india and another with thai president food plc, thailand. In the fmcg category, kallol handles 3 international brands, with nationwide distribution channels in all 64 districts. As for durable consumer goods, kallol handles 29 international watch & writing instrument brands, with 42 show rooms – time zone - set up in prime locations in cities and towns all over the country.

RECOGNITION

In the years 1993, 1994 and 1996 the bangladesh government, through the ministry of labor & manpower, awarded the managing director of the company, Mr. Ghulam mostafa as cip (commercially important person).

In 2007-2008, kallol was acknowledged and rewarded for being the highest taxpayer in the business category - in both national and district levels.
